The Right to Advocate + The Blueprint to Do It

We believe passionately that everyone should have access to their governments to make positive policy changes in their communities and organizations.

We’re not a lobbying firm, and we’re not a political organization. We know that EVERY voice is important when it comes to shaping public policy. We also know advocating is hard because most of us have never been taught how to do it. Sometimes we're unsure how government works or how to communicate with lawmakers and policymakers, which makes us feel embarrassed or intimated.

Advocacy Blueprints changes that. We empower all communities, particularly racially diverse and low-income communities to participate in the public policy process.

It doesn't matter if you're marching & protesting for racial equality, women's rights, climate change, or small business opportunities. The common goal is: we need policy changes, and we get there through advocacy.

So if you believe that government should be accessible to everyone and that there is power in advocacy, we have the blueprint.

Experience

Advocacy Blueprints is an independent, non-partisan, Black-woman-owned, small business that operates as a social enterprise to provide interactive, innovative, and professional training and consulting focused on understanding public policy in the United States Congress, Federal Executive Branch, and international policymaking organizations.

We bring a variety of proven advocacy tools and techniques to assist clients with:

  1. Building and improving their government affairs outreach and programs;
  2. Legislative strengthening workshops and consultations to help domestic and international governments develop strategies;  and
  3. Designing and developing public policy engagement and communication strategies for building effective relationships and policies.
